I have been driving the 2500 HD with the 6.6 for about 2 years now, haven’t piloted a cummings yet. That 6.6 is freaking out powerful.

I mean your spinning the tires to 80 mph can you even tell the difference between 765 and 865? If it weren’t for the traction control I’d be killing rear tires every 5k.

In that respect, I doubt it haha! I just find it impressive that they have the most torque with the smallest engine out of the 3 HD trucks.

Chevy with the z71 package, it tows pretty well. I like that you can accelerate with a loaded 20 foot trailer up a hill. We hooked up a 14k trailer the other day to the rear hitch (not the 5th wheel) and it was dragging ass.

Ours has the max tow package so the Z85 suspension. It’s very nice. Our 5th is around 12K lbs I think. Still pretty good getting through those hills!

6.7 L turbo diesel inline 6 cy., actually more displacement! I had a friend who had one that was heavily modded, it dyno’d at 450 HP and over 1,000 ft-lbs of torque. Needles to say he roasted the clutch quit quickly.
